Parachute Finance is a secure cryptocurrency platform that empowers users to trade digital assets with confidence. It features a seamless, intuitive interface that prioritizes safety, making crypto trading accessible and frictionless.
CHALLENGE
The main challenge was creating a dual-interface platform to satisfy vastly different user needs: providing a simple, educational experience for crypto novices while offering the complex, advanced trading tools required by pros.
MY ROLE
I was responsible for crafting the product vision and validating it with business and end users. I've prepared an updated design system, which follows brand guidelines. I also did all of the UX/UI tasks to achieve seamless design, with QA checks.
JOHN - CRYPTO NOOB

Crypto Experience: Low / Non-existent
Tech Savviness: High (Uses everyday apps easily, but intimidated by Web3)
Core Goals: To safely buy their first cryptocurrency without feeling overwhelmed.
Frustrations & Pain Points: Confused by terms like "liquidity pools" and "slippage." High anxiety about sending money to the wrong address or getting scammed. Overwhelmed by flashing numbers, deep charts, and complex order books.
Key Feature Needs: Step-by-step tutorials and a "sandbox" mode. Large, clear "Buy" and "Sell" buttons with a minimalist dashboard.
Contextual Education: Tooltips explaining terms right where the user encounters them.
MIKE - PRO TRADER
"I need speed, deep analytics, and real-time market data to execute my strategies. Don't hide it from me."
Crypto Experience: Expert
Tech Savviness: Very High (Familiar with APIs, hardware wallets, and complex charting)
Core Goals: To safely buy their first cryptocurrency without feeling overwhelmed.
Frustrations & Pain Points: Annoyed by mandatory tutorials, oversimplified dashboards, and hidden data. Frustrated by slow load times or delayed price updates during volatile market swings.
Key Feature Needs: Customizable dashboards with advanced candlestick charts (e.g., TradingView integration).
Contextual Education: Tooltips explaining terms right where the user encounters them. Real-time news feeds, sentiment analysis, and detailed project research hubs natively within the platform.
UX/UI DESIGN
To serve both personas, the UI employs a dual-mode system. The Noob view uses a clean, minimalist layout with large CTAs and guided flows to reduce cognitive load. The Pro view shifts to a high-density, customizable dashboard featuring advanced charts, order books, and real-time data.

The landing page serves as an intuitive gateway to the platform. By featuring an interactive UI toggle in the hero section, it instantly communicates the app's unique value: a secure, simplified entry point for novices and a powerful, data-rich hub for pro traders.
